Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection procedures with precision and minimal patient discomfort
- Verify patient identities and prepare specimens for accurate laboratory testing
- Maintain sterile equipment and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Document collection details accurately in electronic health records
- Provide compassionate patient care and address phobia concerns
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless testing workflows
- Manage inventory and maintain organized collection areas
Qualifications
- Current California Phlebotomy Technician certification (CPT1 or CPT2)
- Minimum 1 year clinical phlebotomy experience
- BLS/CPR certification
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
