Responsibilities
- Assess patient acuity and prioritize emergency cases using advanced triage protocols
- Utilize provided diagnostic equipment (EKG, pulse oximeters, BP monitors) for rapid patient evaluation
- Collaborate with physicians to develop immediate care plans for critical patients
- Document patient assessments and vital signs using our EMR system
- Provide compassionate care to patients and families during high-stress situations
- Maintain strict infection control standards with supplied PPE and sanitization equipment
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California with minimum 2 years ER/trauma experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Proficient in using electronic health records and triage technology
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication skills for diverse patient populations
- Ability to work efficiently with provided medical equipment
- BSN degree preferred
