Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in specialized units (ER, ICU, Med-Surg) with 24/7 support
- Conduct virtual patient assessments and telehealth consultations
- Accurately document electronic health records (EPIC) remotely
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care teams and discharge planning
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and telehealth protocols
- Participate in weekend/evening rotations as scheduled
- Mentor nursing students and new staff members
Qualifications
- Active GA RN license (Compact License eligible)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- 2+ years acute care experience preferred
- Telehealth certification or equivalent training
- Proficiency in EPIC EHR systems
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to work independently in remote settings
- BSN degree or higher preferred
