Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed nursing staff.
- Communicate changes in patient condition or concerns to the Charge Nurse or RN immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients and visitors.
- Document all care provided accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current and active California CNA License (CNA I) required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility, hospital, or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as required by the schedule.
- Compassionate demeanor and the physical stamina to perform the duties of the position.
