Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings with focus on assessment, medication administration, and treatment coordination
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient encounters accurately in EMR systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Monitor vital signs, interpret diagnostic results, and respond to emergent situations
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge planning
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Tennessee (or compact state) with unrestricted status
- ACLS/BLS certifications required; PALS preferred
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience (MedSurg/ICU preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
