Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and triage to ensure optimal care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation in compliance with state regulations.
- Provide patient and family education to promote understanding of health conditions and discharge instructions.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition.
- Assist in emergency situations with a calm and decisive approach.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred, though exceptional new graduates will be considered.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team environment.
