Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems, needs, and physical conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress and report significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Document patient history, symptoms, and treatment plans accurately in EHR systems.
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to develop and evaluate patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and home care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
