Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vitals and symptoms, reporting any changes immediately to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients as necessary.
