Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough physical assessments and monitor patient vitals to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Clinical Care: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) and patient charts.
- Communication: Collaborate effectively with physicians, pharmacists, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to code blue alerts and critical situations within the facility.
- Education: Educate patients and families on disease prevention, care plans, and post-discharge instructions.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Technology: Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EHR).
