Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure patient safety and well-being.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established nursing protocols.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and clinical notes.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and provide crisis intervention when necessary.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN License to practice in the State of Texas.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN, BSN, or MSN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team environment.
