Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough health assessments and monitor patient vitals to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Medication Administration: Accurately administer prescribed medications and treatments according to hospital protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and electronic health records (EHR) in a timely manner.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and the wider healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventative care strategies.
- Emergency Response: Respond swiftly to medical emergencies and provide critical support when needed.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or outpatient setting preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients and staff.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and medical equipment.
- Compassion: Strong bedside manner and a genuine commitment to patient-centered care.
