Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care management
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adherence to safety protocols
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention skills
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Florida Registered Nurse license (RN)
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or BSN preferred
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred for certain units)
- Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare team
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing patient conditions
