Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs during the night shift.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to medical protocols and physician orders.
- Provide compassionate patient advocacy and communicate effectively with patients and families.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate, detailed medical records and documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and critical patient events.
- Ensure the clinical environment remains safe, clean, and organized for patient care.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or Virginia.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in an acute care or medical-surgical setting.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently throughout the shift.
