Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to patients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and report any changes in physical or mental condition to the Registered Nurse (RN).
- Transport patients using wheelchairs, stretchers, or other mobility aids safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families during their stay.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient needs.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Ohio CNA Certification (State Tested Nursing Assistant).
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
