Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms by arranging sterile equipment and instruments.
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and materials.
- Count sponges, needles, and instruments to maintain a sterile field.
- Monitor patient vital signs and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of surgical supplies and procedures.
- Adhere to all hospital protocols and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certification eligible.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a surgical setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and sterilization processes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or GED required.
