Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care in diverse clinical settings (ER, ICU, Telemetry, Med-Surg)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per facility protocols
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in EMR systems
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO, OSHA, and state nursing regulations
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions and discharge planning
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Florida (or compact state with quick endorsement)
- Minimum 1-2 years of acute care experience in specialty area
- ACLS, BLS, and any specialty-specific certifications (e.g., TNCC, PALS)
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EPIC, Cerner preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Flexibility to adapt to new healthcare environments and protocols
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Positive attitude with commitment to patient-centered care
