Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in acute care settings across Lincoln's top medical facilities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Monitor patient vitals and response to interventions, documenting all care activities
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols and regulatory compliance standards
- Participate in shift handoffs with clear, concise communication of patient status
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience (ER, ICU, or Med-Surg preferred)
- BLS/ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
- Flexibility to work 24-32 hours per week across various shifts
- Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Travel nursing experience highly valued but not required
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and facility protocols
