Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in hospital settings including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg units
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precise documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and facility-specific protocols
- Assist in patient education and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
Qualifications
- Active RN license in District of Columbia or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in specialty area
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS/NRP for specialties)
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Flexibility to work 16-24 hours/week across varied shifts
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
- Valid US passport and clean background check
