Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments via phone and in-person triage
- Provide accurate medical advice and prioritize patient care urgency
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Document clinical encounters in Epic EHR systems
- Manage patient flow and coordinate emergency responses
- Educate patients on treatment protocols and home care
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (required)
- Minimum 2 years emergency/urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Proficiency with electronic health records
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced settings
- Spanish bilingual preferred (not required)
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
