Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive telephone triage assessments for patients with acute symptoms
- Accurately determine acuity levels and prioritize patient care needs
- Provide clear medical advice per established protocols and physician guidance
- Maintain detailed electronic health records with precise documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams for complex case management
- Coordinate patient transfers and emergency services when required
- Delicate patient education on home care and follow-up instructions
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona (AZ RN)
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficient in Epic or similar EMR systems
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong written/verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
