Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive telephone triage assessments using clinical judgment protocols
- Prioritize patient cases based on acuity levels and established protocols
- Document patient interactions accurately in EMR systems with HIPAA compliance
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams for complex case escalation
- Provide clear patient education on home care and follow-up instructions
- Maintain strict confidentiality and ethical standards in all communications
Qualifications
- Current NY RN license with minimum 2 years ER/urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency in Epic or EMR systems
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in remote setting
- Experience with telehealth triage platforms preferred
- Spanish language fluency highly desirable
