Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize medical triage using established protocols
- Provide telehealth and phone consultations to determine urgency of care needs
- Collaborate with physicians to develop patient care plans
- Document patient interactions accurately in EMR systems
- Educate patients on home care instructions and follow-up procedures
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Florida
- Minimum 2 years triage or emergency nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication abilities in English
- Proficiency with electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
