Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms with sterile equipment and supplies
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining sterile fields
- Count surgical instruments and supplies before/after procedures
- Transport patients to/from operating rooms
- Scrub, gown, and assist in complex surgical cases
- Maintain equipment sterilization protocols
- Document surgical cases accurately and timely
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
- BLS/CPR certification
- Minimum 1 year OR experience preferred
- Knowledge of sterile processing protocols
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
