Responsibilities
- Conduct accurate telephone triage for diverse patient populations
- Assess symptoms and prioritize patient care urgency per established protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff for seamless patient transitions
- Maintain detailed electronic health records with precision
- Educate patients on home care and follow-up procedures
- Handle emergency calls per ACLS/PALS guidelines
Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN license (compact state license accepted)
- 3+ years clinical experience in emergency/urgent care setting
- TAS or ESI triage certification required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Experience with Epic EMR systems preferred
- Ability to work 20-30 hours/week including evenings/weekends
