Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via telehealth and phone triage using clinical judgment protocols
- Provide urgent care guidance and prioritize patient cases based on acuity levels
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to develop patient treatment plans
- Document patient encounters accurately in EMR systems (EPIC experience preferred)
- Educate patients on care pathways and follow-up procedures
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current California RN license with unrestricted status
- Minimum 2 years of emergency or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficient in telehealth triage protocols and electronic medical records
- Exceptional communication and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Experience with pediatric and adult patient populations
- Strong knowledge of Sacramento healthcare resources
