Responsibilities
- Prepare and sterilize surgical equipment using advanced sterilization systems
- Assist surgeons during procedures with provided specialized instruments
- Maintain sterile fields and equipment throughout operations
- Coordinate with sterile processing team for instrument availability
- Document equipment usage and maintenance records accurately
- Train on new surgical technologies as provided by the facility
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience with equipment handling
- Knowledge of sterilization protocols and equipment maintenance
- Ability to operate provided surgical machinery (endoscopic, robotic, etc.)
- BLS/CPR certification
- Strong attention to detail in equipment assembly
