Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive telephone triage assessments for patients of all ages
- Provide clinical guidance and education to patients regarding symptoms and care options
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to determine appropriate care pathways
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Manage urgent patient escalations with calm efficiency
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current California RN license with no disciplinary actions
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BSN degree or equivalent certification
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Excellent critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently and in fast-paced environments
