Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following OSHA protocols
- Take digital X-rays and assist with diagnostic imaging
- Manage patient records using Dentrix/EagleSoft software
- Provide chairside support and patient education
- Order inventory and maintain supply chain efficiency
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or DANB eligibility
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in dental practice
- Proficiency in digital radiography and infection control
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Valid CPR certification
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional Saturdays
- Positive attitude and team-player mentality
