Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough telephone triage assessments using evidence-based protocols
- Provide expert medical guidance to patients experiencing acute symptoms
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams for critical case escalations
- Document patient encounters with precision in EMR systems
- Coordinate urgent care referrals and hospital admissions
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active GA RN license with minimum 2 years clinical experience
- BSN or Associate's degree in Nursing
- ACLS/BLS certification required
- Excellent verbal communication and critical thinking skills
- Experience with Epic EMR systems preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong time management and decision-making abilities
- Spanish bilingual certification a plus
