Responsibilities
- Assess patients' symptoms and medical history to determine urgency of care using established triage protocols
- Provide accurate medical guidance to patients via phone and in-person consultations
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to coordinate patient care pathways
- Maintain detailed documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Educate patients on home care instructions and follow-up procedures
- Monitor patient flow and optimize department efficiency during peak hours
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and hospital safety protocols
Qualifications
- Current Arizona RN license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years clinical nursing experience with ER/urgent care focus
- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications
- Proficient in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Spanish bilingualism strongly preferred
