Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality direct patient care in acute care environments
- Utilize provided advanced medical equipment for patient monitoring and treatment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Ensure strict compliance with JCAHO and facility protocols
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health conditions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active California RN license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Proficiency with provided medical equipment (IV pumps, monitors, etc.)
- Flexibility to adapt to new healthcare systems quickly
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to travel and relocate for 13-week assignments
