Responsibilities
- Assess incoming patient calls via telehealth platform using evidence-based protocols
- Accurately prioritize cases based on medical urgency and acuity
- Provide clinical guidance to patients and caregivers over phone/virtual channels
- Document assessments and care plans in EMR systems with precision
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists for complex case escalations
- Monitor patient conditions post-triage and follow up as needed
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (TX)
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS/ACLS certification required
- Proficiency in telehealth triage systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to work 20-30 hours/week with flexible scheduling
- Strong communication skills in English and Spanish preferred
