Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone consultations and determine appropriate care urgency
- Provide accurate medical advice and triage protocols for diverse patient populations
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care pathways
- Document clinical encounters meticulously in EMR systems
- Manage patient flow and prioritize cases based on acuity levels
- Educate patients on home care and follow-up procedures
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and strict confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Current Arizona RN license with unrestricted status
- Minimum 2 years clinical nursing experience in urgent care or ER
- BLS/ACLS certification required
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking abilities
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
- Spanish bilingualism preferred
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
