Responsibilities
- Assess patient calls using clinical judgment to determine urgency and appropriate care level
- Provide accurate medical advice per established protocols and physician guidelines
- Document patient interactions and triage outcomes in EHR systems
- Coordinate care between patients, providers, and ancillary departments
- Manage emergency protocols during critical situations
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Tennessee
- Minimum 2 years emergency/urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficient in EHR documentation (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
