Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take prescribed medications and monitor for any adverse reactions.
- Household Support: Perform light housekeeping tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, and vacuuming to ensure a safe living environment.
- Transportation: Drive clients to and from medical appointments, social activities, and grocery shopping.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record patient health metrics including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure as required.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certification: Current Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (Missouri State required).
- License: Valid Driver's License and current auto insurance.
- Health: Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Background: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal communication skills and a genuine passion for helping the elderly and disabled.
