Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and medical history to determine urgency and appropriate care pathways
- Provide telehealth and in-person triage services for diverse patient populations
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and care teams to coordinate patient care
- Document clinical encounters accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
- Educate patients on home care, follow-up procedures, and resource utilization
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the State of Florida
- Minimum 2 years clinical nursing experience in emergency, urgent care, or telehealth
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Spanish bilingualism preferred
