Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and prioritize cases based on medical urgency
- Provide expert clinical guidance via phone, video, and in-person triage protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care pathways
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and documentation
- Educate patients on treatment plans and home care instructions
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with swift intervention
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and facility-specific protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California (CA)
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS/ACLS certification required
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Spanish bilingual preferred
