Responsibilities
- Personal Care Assistance: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take prescribed medications and observe for any adverse reactions.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support, conversation, and engage in recreational activities.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the client.
- Transportation: Accompany clients to medical appointments, shopping, or social events.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; CNA or PCA certification preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in home care or nursing assistance is a plus.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift and move patients (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks.
- Valid Driver’s License: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
