Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in acute care, long-term, or specialized settings
- Administer medications, treatments, and wound care per physician orders
- Monitor patient vitals, symptoms, and response to interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans
- Document clinical observations and patient progress accurately
- Educate patients/families on health management and discharge planning
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license in good standing
- BLS/CPR certification (ACLS preferred for ICU/ER roles)
- Minimum 1 year recent RN experience in specialty area
- Flexibility to work 8-12 hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Valid DEA license for controlled substance administration
