Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across diverse units including ICU, ER, and telemetry
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient vitals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records using Epic systems
- Respond to emergent situations with calm professionalism and critical thinking
- Mentor junior staff and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN with 2+ years acute care experience considered
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year night shift experience in acute care setting
- Proficiency in electronic health documentation systems
- Demonstrated ability to work independently during high-pressure situations
