Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Provide mobility support and transfer assistance using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry as needed.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Administer medication reminders and monitor clients for any changes in health or behavior.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social outings, and grocery runs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for all clients.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Willingness to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Previous experience in home health care, geriatric care, or a related field is a plus.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable work ethic.
