Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory and order pharmaceutical supplies
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and pharmacy regulations
- Operate pharmacy software (Rx30, QS1) and automated dispensing systems
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Kansas Pharmacy Technician license
- 1+ years of retail/hospital pharmacy experience
- CPhT certification preferred (required within 6 months)
- Proficiency in pharmacy software and inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Basic math and computer proficiency
