Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care and support recovery plans under the supervision of licensed providers.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed.
- Document patient care activities, symptoms, and responses to treatment accurately in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations, utilizing proper triage protocols.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and medication management.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia (New Grads Welcome).
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university (Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Computer proficiency in electronic health record systems.
