Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care in weekend rotations with 12-hour shifts
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Document electronic health records accurately and timely
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for seamless patient transitions
- Maintain strict infection control and safety protocols
- mentor new staff and uphold departmental quality standards
- Respond to emergency situations with critical thinking and composure
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years ER/ICU experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience
- Strong assessment and critical care skills
- EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently during weekend coverage
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
