Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and tracking pharmaceutical supplies
- Maintain precise patient records and prescription information in pharmacy systems
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and pharmacy board regulations
- Assist in compounding sterile and non-sterile medications as needed
Qualifications
- Active Florida Pharmacy Technician license required
- 1+ years of pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and drug interactions
- Proficient in pharmacy software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
- CPR certification preferred
