Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications and compound specialty preparations
- Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stock rotation
- Process insurance claims and handle third-party billing
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records and prescription data
- Operate pharmacy dispensing systems and automated equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Assist in training new pharmacy staff
Qualifications
- Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician license or certification
- Minimum 1 year retail/hospital pharmacy experience
- Proficiency in pharmacy software (e.g., QS/1, Omnicell)
- Strong knowledge of prescription processing workflows
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and computer literacy
