Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining proper storage conditions
- Process insurance claims and manage patient billing inquiries
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Maintain precise medication records and documentation
- Assist with sterile compounding and IV preparations
- Train new pharmacy staff on standard procedures
Qualifications
- Active Tennessee Pharmacy Technician license (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Prior retail or hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
