Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established medical protocols and physician orders.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Document patient history, symptoms, and response to treatments accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding diagnosis and care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to coordinate seamless care transitions.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to strict infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume remote/on-site hybrid environment.
