Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare, label, and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control, ordering, and stock rotation of pharmaceutical products
- Process insurance claims and maintain precise patient medication records
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling to patients
- Operate automated dispensing systems and pharmacy software (OmniRx preferred)
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and pharmacy board regulations
- Assist in training new pharmacy technicians and support staff
Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician certification (PhT)
- Minimum 1 year retail or hospital pharmacy experience
- Strong knowledge of prescription medications, dosages, and interactions
- Proficiency in pharmacy software and inventory management systems
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid CPR certification preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
