Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Process insurance claims and manage patient medication records
- Prepare and compound sterile/non-sterile pharmaceutical products
- Conduct inventory management and medication reconciliation
- Provide exceptional patient counseling on medication usage
- Maintain compliance with DEA, HIPAA, and pharmacy regulations
- Operate pharmacy software and automated dispensing systems
Qualifications
- Active Colorado Pharmacy Technician license (CPhT)
- 1+ years retail or hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Certified Immunization Administration (CPhT-Adv) a plus
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Exceptional attention to detail and mathematical accuracy
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
